Yuda Yuda is the product of Asura merging with Shadow Asura. Their merge allowed the two to live on,but the consequence of the fusion resulted in an unstable body which caused him to lose his entire memory. This also makes him unable to utilize the the "Seven Ancient Weapons" that lies dormant due to the gloves on his hands. In the end Yuda came under the control of Clan 1, one of the three branch families of the shogunate. This clan is in fact linked to the Three Blades of Ritenkyo and Yuda has been secretly promised the position of shogun when the plans of Oboro (Jigen Taishi) succeed. If the plans fail, Yuda would be used as the fall guy to destroy evidence of Oboro's plot and keep it from being brought to light. The amnesiac Yuda now takes on his duty and complete his first mission: clearing out Ritenkyo.
Trivia - His sole appearance was in Samurai Shodown 64: Warriors Rage on the defunct Hyper Neogeo 64 arcade platform, which followed the series' recent tradition of having two different versions of each character, known as "Slash" (修羅, "Shura," meaning a "scene of carnage") and Bust (羅刹, "Rasetsu," which is the Japanese word for a rakshasa). Most incarnations were visually very similar, just with altered special moves. Asura broke this trend rather dramatically, however, with two very different designs, and different mannerisms to go with them.
- Slash Asura's look is essentially one of a thin man in extremely ornate bondage gear, and is the better known of the two. He is also interesting in that all of the names of his various special moves (and by extension, the seven forms his sword can take) are the reversed names of demons in Biblical scripture and other lore. This meaning is occasionally lost due to poor Romanization, but examples include Seudomsa, Nommam and Nahtaivel, among others.
- Bust Asura's (or Hanmen no Asura) appearance is no less intricate, but has more of an ancient, regal look about him. As the counterpart to his Slash form, this version's moves all have the names of angels, reversed, such as Leirbag, Leimal and Nortatem.

Techniques The following are Asura moves in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum: Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (abbriviated NGBC or NBC) is a 2 on 2 tag team fighting game for the AtomisWave arcade board. ...
- Suedomsa: Asura uses a bow to fire arrows at his opponent. Performing this special move with A has him fire 1 arrow, with B he fires 2 arrows & with C he fires 3 arrows.
- Rogehpleb: Asura punches the ground & a spike rises from the ground. The button used determines where the spike will appear. Asura has a semi-infinite where he can continue hitting his opponent with a B Rogehpleb at the corner.
- Nommam: Asura holds a shield infront of him. If he is hit while holding the shield he will damage his opponent. The C version of this special move can also reflect some projectiles.
- Leisu: The background turns black as Asura readies to to perform a powerful slash with his sword. This special move is unblockable, but very slow & has limited range.
- Bubezleeb: This is similar to Leisu, except Asura uses a giant axe. This move cannot be blocked standing, and it will damage the opponent even if they are very far from Asura. This move can be dodged by jumping.
- Legnahcra: This is Asura's Level 1 super in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. This move is in fact a throw and must be performed very close to the opponent. If this super connects, Asura attacks with a Leisu.
- Satanus: This is Asura's Level 2 super. Asura holds a staff in front of him, if the opponent is hit, Asura will stab them with a lance, then smash his axe at the opponent & finishes with a multi-hitting Rogehpleb. This attack was used in the Samurai Spirits OVA, however, in the OVA the attack would crush/choke the victim with chains.
