An athletic conference is a collection of sports teams, playing competitively against each other at the collegiate or high school level. In many cases conferenences are subdivided into smaller and smaller divisions, with the best teams in competing at successively higher levels. Institutions guilty of solicitation shall not be eligible for the Conference championship in that sport for which the athlete was solicited and that athlete shall be permanently ineligible at the institution.
Use of books as a portion of the athletic scholarship package shall be limited to two hundred dollars ($200.00) per semester with a maximum of four hundred dollars ($400.00) for any one academic year for any one student, regardless of the number of sports in which the student participates.
The conference champion will be determined by the conference standing at the end of the regular season which will also determine the seeding for the all conference tournament, hosted by the team who finishes number one in the conference.
