The Athosians once lived in a ruined city on the planet and were technologically advanced.
They still possess some advanced technology, but due to the threat by the Wraith, they were living in a pre-industrial culture, in portable camps which they moved to confuse the Wraith.
However, the planet was atacked by the Wraith, and the survivors were evacuated to Atlantis.
