Atomizer began as a raw and blasting misanthropic old school fl/thrash band from Melbourne but their style has gradually developed over time to incorporate a degree of melody and dynamics.
Rick Withoos (ex-Earth) and Brent Hodgkins joined Atomizer on guitar in October 2003, but Withoos' stay was short and by May 2004 he had been replaced by former Psi.Kore and Infernal Method guitarist Lilley.
Atomizer was to tour Europe and Japan in late 2004 but the tour was blown out at the last minute and Lilley has since left the band.

With the second album 'Death Mutation Disease Annihilation' finally out on CD, (I believe the LP to be sold out) Atomizer's ranks have expanded to a four piece with the addition of a second guitarist, Mr.
Atomizer was formed back in mid 1998, and it was not long before the 'Atomic Metal Power' demo was recorded.
Atomizer's next release was to be a 7" titled 'Gimme Natural Selection' and that was finally released in January of 2002 on the Nihilist Void Records label from Norway, and the EP sold out in just a few weeks.
