Audio Visual (AV) technology is technology that combines visual input such as video or 35mm slides with sound to convey information.

Examples are multimedia presentations and older technologies using magnetic tape to provide both sound and control of one or many 35mm slide projectors.

Uses of AV technology include training, especially computer based training (CBT), presentation of research work, and entertainment.

A series of 80 color slides (delivered in a box, sequentially arranged) designed to be the fundamental (mandatory) presentation of the formal officiating clinic, as well as a key presentation in the shorter ‘Rules Clinics’.
They serve as a visual aid and as a guide as the instructor leads the students through virtually all the rules, pausing to explain the principles depicted by each slide.
It’s only by using this visual presentation that the instructor can assure that the student will be exposed to all the necessary concepts.
