Description

The Aurgelmir is an odd and frightening machine. It looks like the body of a giant female from the stomach up dressed in a black dress and has a blue face. The lower body looks like a giant tentacle that reaches from the lower stomach area and is coiled on the ground. The Aurgelmir has odd "shadow" wings as well.


Technical and historical

After Sophia Nate was injected with Machine Cells and the Magus System took over her body, Magus came to life. The Magus System's job was protect the Earth. However, it came to the conclusion that the reason the Earth suffers is because of its people. In its plan to defeat all humans, Magus uses the Aurgelmir. The Aurgelmir is made from many Machine Cells and is Magus' personal unit. It uses the Astranagant as a black box. It is unknown how it ever came to obtain the Astranagant, but it has it stored inside its body. Astranagant Astranagant(アストラナガン) is a fictional giant robot from the Japanese video game series Super Robot Wars. ...


It has been suggested since the release of Alpha 3, that rather than the damaged Astranagun encountering Ayin (Cobray Gordon) and absorbing his mech, it instead continued to drift and reached earth where it encountered the Aurgelmir and was absorbed by it.

Weapon Systems:

  • Izun Eye
    The Aurgelmir launches a ball of energy at the opponent.
  • Ymir Arm
    The Aurgelmir launches a huge load of tentacles to rush at and elminiate opposition.
  • Dogma Blaster
    The Aurgelmir's ultimate attack. It summons the Astranagant from inside its body and uses it to charge up a giant energy ball. This ball at full power is then launched towards its target.

The game's main feature is the use of mecha units from several Anime and Manga titles, mixing them together in a battle simulation and adding a complex plot involving some of their respective storylines, characters, and backgrounds.
In addition, some of your enemies may join your side (as additional pilots with their own mecha or without), depending on the situation: some of them have to be defeated a number of times before you can convince them, others may join you automatically later in the game.
They sparked a fan interest in old anime mecha shows, some of which were first heard of or seen by anime fans playing the SRW games.
