Aurgelmir is a fictional giant robot from the Japanese video game series Super Robot Wars. It has appeared in the Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden. Super Robot Wars: Alpha Gaiden, one of many SRW games released by Banpresto in Japan. ...
Description
The Aurgelmir is an odd and frightening machine. It looks like the body of a giant female from the stomach up dressed in a black dress and has a blue face. The lower body looks like a giant tentacle that reaches from the lower stomach area and is coiled on the ground. The Aurgelmir has odd "shadow" wings as well.
It has been suggested since the release of Alpha 3, that rather than the damaged Astranagun encountering Ayin (Cobray Gordon) and absorbing his mech, it instead continued to drift and reached earth where it encountered the Aurgelmir and was absorbed by it.

The game's main feature is the use of mecha units from several Anime and Manga titles, mixing them together in a battle simulation and adding a complex plot involving some of their respective storylines, characters, and backgrounds.
In addition, some of your enemies may join your side (as additional pilots with their own mecha or without), depending on the situation: some of them have to be defeated a number of times before you can convince them, others may join you automatically later in the game.
They sparked a fan interest in old anime mecha shows, some of which were first heard of or seen by anime fans playing the SRW games.
