Aurora FC is one of the traditional football clubs in Guatemala. The club is owned by the military and was founded on April 14, 1945 as Aurora de la Guardia de Honor. In 1946 the named was shortened to Aurora FC. The team plays in Guatemala City in el Estadio Del Ejército, and is a traditional rival of fellow Guatemala City teams Municipal and Comunicaciones.
