Austin Kearns is a Major League Baseball player who wears number 28 plays right field for the Cincinnati Reds. He began his career with the team in 2002 and is currently their starting right fielder as of the close of the 2005 season. Kearns was born May 20, 1980 in Lexington, KY. He throws and bats right-handed and did not attend college. His 2005 salary was $930,000.
