Autobacs is a japanese car company. it is still not very big and not even in production yet, but they are planning to introduce two models sometime this decade, the gairiya and another faster model. the gariya will use a smaller engine, 150--200 hp while the other one will use a nissan skyline RB26DETT engine, producing 276 hp. because of its light weight it is quite fast, but it will most likely be available with a 500+ hp nismo version of the engine. the faster model looks exactly like the tommy-kaira zz-II, featured in gran turismos 2, 3, and 4. apparently the companies are related. not much is known about the company yet. if anyone has any info please post an edit, as im sure we'd all like to know more about it. and for future reference tommy-kaira is a company that tunes nissans. mostly skyline gtrs but also slower cars, and even a daihatsu, although the name escapes me as i have lost my copy of gran turismo 2. their first car made by themselves was the zz, a 195 hp light roadster similar to the miata or elise, besides costing twice as much and being at least 10 times as rare. i learned all of this information from car magazines and gran turismo. i know this article isnt all scientificky like everything else, and i know im making it worse as i speak so ill just shut up. its not like anyones going to read this article anyway.
