CHENNAI : The delay in opening two bill collection centres in Avadi municipality has led to inconvenience for residents who complain about spending long hours travelling to pay their property tax.
With the computerisation and delay in inaugurating the centres, the residents of Avadi and Pattabiram have to spend half a day travelling and waiting in queue to pay the property tax at the municipality office.
