Avanti is a 1972 comedy directed by Billy Wilder, starring Jack Lemmon, Juliet Mills, Clive Revill, Edward Andrews and Gianfranco Barra. It was written by I.A.L. Diamond. It is probably one of the least famous movies of the tandem Wilder-Diamonds despite the fact that it is clearly one of their best ones. It is a fine comedy about the behaviour of the Italians, the American executives and the Average Englishwomen of the 70's, full of surprises and subtle dialogs. As in One, Two, Three the contrasts between people coming from different cultures are very intelligent and everybody is laughed at.
