Averill is a town located in Essex County, Vermont. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 8.


Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 98.6 km˛ (38.1 mi˛). 93.6 km˛ (36.1 mi˛) of it is land and 5.0 km˛ (1.9 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 5.04% water.


Demographics

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 8 people, 3 households, and 2 families residing in the town. The population density is 0.1/km˛ (0.2/mi˛). There are 192 housing units at an average density of 2.1/km˛ (5.3/mi˛). The racial makeup of the town is 100.00% White.
