Avondale is a large Primary School of over 400 pupils, which is set in the Sunnyhurst area of Darwen, Lancashire.
Avondale was once a girls secondary school and is well-equipped with a fully fitted Gym, which has been recently refurbished.
The school has high expectations of its pupils and is constantly striving to improve in all areas and likes to be involved with new ideas and initiatives.
