Encyclopedia > Azure Sheep

Azure Sheep is a mod for the first person shooter Half Life. It is considered to be an alternative to an official Half Life add_on, Blue Shift. The storyline is about Barney Calhoun, a security guard who has to rescue a colleague called Kate who is nicknamed 'Azure Sheep'. They have to find a way to escape the Black Mesa Research Facility, which is the main setting of Half Life. The mod features some new weapons such as a poolstick, ironbar, and new types of pistols and machine guns. The new enemies are Special Forces soldiers, magenta vauntigaunts, and an underwater monster called the Archer. There are many new characters such as Barniel and Gus. Azure Sheep was made by a team consisting of designers, modellers and voice actors from Portugal and Italy. This team has also made a second Half Life mod called Point Of View where you can play as an alien and also features the new characters from Azure Sheep.
