Encyclopedia > B.C. Place Stadium

BC Place Stadium is Canada's first domed stadium. It is located on the north side of False Creek in Vancouver, British Columbia. The stadium, which was completed in 1982 and seats 60,000. It was built as part of the preperation for Expo 86. It is the world's largest air-supported domed stadium. BC Place has been the home to the B.C. Lions since 1982.


Outside of BC Place is the monument to Terry Fox.
