B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) is a premier engineering college in Karnataka (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ in Kannada) is one of the four southern states of India. Karnataka located on the Bull Temple Road, opposite to the famous Bull Temple in Bangalore (ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು in Kannada) is the capital city of Karnataka. With about 5 million inhabitants, it is Indias third largest city [1] and fifth largest urban agglomeration [2]. Post independence, Bangalore evolved into a manufacturing hub for heavy industries such as Hindustan... Bangalore. Though a private engineering college, it is partially funded by the government of Karnataka. It has the highest student population of engineering colleges in Karnataka, which includes students from other states of India and abroad.

One of the oldest engineering colleges in Karnataka, it recently celebrated its Golden Jubliee in 1997. It boasts of imposing buildings, state of the art laboratories and workshops, excellent faculty and one of the best performances in Karntaka. It is also known for the annual inter-collegiate cultural fest UTSAV, one of the largest in the coutry.
