It broadcasts from its studios in London Rd, Gloucester on 95 (Stroud), 95.8 (Cirencester), 104.7 (Gloucester, Cheltenham & Tewkesbury) FM and 1413 in the Cotswolds & Forest of Dean AM. Transmitters

The main transmitter is 104.7FM broadcasting from Churchdown Hill near to jct 11 on the M5. The transmitter is not particularly high, is next to two mobile phone masts, and relatively under-powered. The transmitter also broadcasts Severn Sound on 102.4 FM & also some of the National Radio Stations. The station therefore has several infill transmitters on AM and FM. The Stroud transmitter broadcasts on 95.0 FM & serves the Stroud valleys and the Dursley area. This transmitter also has Severn Sound on 103FM. The Cirencester transmitter broadcasts on 95.8FM serving Cirencester and surrounding areas. Severn Sound is an Independent Local Radio station that broadcasts to Gloucestershire in the United Kingdom. ...


From 1992, the station was broadcast only on FM, which did not cover the hilly areas such as the Forest of Dean andCotswolds which had tuned in on 603MW, so eventually in 1995, after losing all its listeners in these areas, two AM transmitters were switched on to much applause in [[Bourton-on-the-Water for the Cotswolds and Berkeley Heath for the Forest of Dean.
