BBC Radio Nottingham is the BBC Local Radio service for the English county of Nottinghamshire. It broadcasts from its studios in Nottingham on 95.1 (Newark), 95.5 (Fishponds Hill, Mansfield) and 103.8 (Mapperley Ridge, north Nottingham) FM, 1584 (Clipstone, near Mansfield) AM, DAB and by Real Player via the website. The signals are relatively weak, so cannot be heard well outside of Nottinghamshire. North of Worksop, Radio Sheffield broadcasting on 104.1FM from Holme Moss is the nearest station. It began on 31 January 1968. The Mansfield transmitter can be heard as far north as Scunthorpe. The 103.8 FM signal can be picked up in Leicester.
