In .hack//Sign, BT focuses her attention on finding the Key of the Twilight and seems to be the least concerned with Tsukasa's predicament. She starts to work with Sora and Crim to achieve her goal. Eventually their search lead them to the Cathedral at Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. She opens the Twilight Eye, and goes through the gate along with Crim. They get to an upside down dungeon and head for the place the Key of the Twilight supposedly is. As part of a plot to get the legendary item for herself, BT sets Sora after them. This force Crim to stop to fight against him, leaving BT alone in the race for the Key. What she discoveres there, however, is not the Key but an AI copy of Harald. Unable to understand what the AI has told her, she gets out of the dungeon, where she is met by Tsukasa, Bear, and Mimiru. Mimiru demandes to know what has happened, BT just points in the direction of the AI's chambers, telling her to see for herself. Harald Hoerwick ) is a fictional character from . ... Without any more leads the search for the Key seems over. BT attempts to start a relationship with Crim in real life but is rejected, and she ends up venting her anger on Subaru. This makes Subaru realize that she may not be able to play the two roles: Subaru, the leader of the Crimson Knights, and Subaru, the ordinary player. This conversation is one of the things that influences Subaru to disband the Knights permanently. Depressed, BT briefly considered quitting The World but decides against it as she becomes a bit sympathetic with Tsukasa's situation, after he saves her from a group of PKs. With Bear keeping her informed of Tsukasa's situation, BT is eventually called in to help with the plan to awaken Aura. She helpes out by defending both Tsukasa and Subaru from a Twilight Guardian. Aura as she apears in . ...

BT travels to a bar in Carmina Gadelica and meets up with Subaru and Mimiru. She makes fun of Mimiru while they wait for Tsukasa, Bear, and other characters from .hack//Sign and the .hack//Games.


The last one to get there is Bear, who apologizes to BT as she teases him and asks about his work. Later they travel to Net Slum, to join a celebration hosted by Helba. At the party she hangs out with Bear most of the time.

A former model in real life, who now makes a career at a dispatch company in the Touhoku region. She lives alone in an apartment, and seems to have little interest in meeting with her old colleagues as it's shown in episode 17 Conflict when she tears the invitation letter of a class reunion into pieces.
