Baa Baa Black Sheep was the original title of a popular 1970stelevision series which was based very loosely on the wartime exploits of Boyington and the Black Sheep squadron. The series ran from 1976 to 1978; in its second and final season, its title was changed to The Black Sheep Squadron.
