Babacar was a short-lived British rock band formed by Caroline Crawley, former lead singer of Shelleyan Orphan, and her then-boyfriend Boris Williams, former drummer of The Cure. Porl Thompson, another former member of The Cure, also made some contributions to Babacar's self-titled album. Babacar only released two albums in their brief existence, Babacar and Bartolo.
