 | Bac Giang, 7 November: The northern province of Bac Giang had by 7 November successfully contained avian influenza outbreaks in three communes, namely Van Trung and Tang Tien in Viet Yen district and Yen Lu in Yen Dung district, four days after they were discovered. |
| Hoang Dang Huyen, Director of the provincial Veterinary Department, said Bac Giang had taken urgent mesures to stamp out these bird flu outbreaks as soon as it was informed of the epidemic. |
| It plans to launch a campaign on 8 November to vaccinate poultry flocks in all of its localities and expects to complete the endeavour on 15 November. |
