Bad Bramstedt is a small town in the north of Hamburg, Germany. About 13,000 inhabitants, famous for it's Roland and it's Rheumaklinik.

At the same time the prefix Bad was added.
In 1877 the town adopted arms with the so-called Roland of Bramstedt, the Roland being a historical figure, his statue can be seen in the town square, see image below.
