Bad Segeberg is a town of 15,000 inhabitants, located in the state of Schleswig_Holstein, capital of the district (Kreis) Segeberg.


It is famous for its annual Karl-May-Festival.

At 91 metres high, Kalkberg hill is the town's main landmark as well as the venue of the famous Bad Segeberg festival.
