It has a state of the art club with many sports facilties . It includes 2 lawn tennis courts (coaching provided) , 1 Badminton court, Gym(up to date), Swimming pool(coach available), Table Tennis,Basket Ball,Judo Taikwando classes,Billiards and Pool table,Music classes,and also meditation classes (Yoga,Aerobics)for a few months. It also has a library with a variety of books (fiction,non-fiction,cartoons,encyclopedias etc). Membership is provided at a very economical rate to non railway personnel on request. This place also hosts several parties (wedding , birthdays , aniverseries etc .) It also has a primary school(playgroup) You can get here from Churchgate or CST railway station by catching bus no 138 starting from CST(via churchgate). This place also has a garden for walking or jogging and one particular Banyan tree which is more than 100 years old. Regarding the history of the place, during the British Raj in India this was a railway station for trams,later it was converted into resedential complex for railway personnel. A little known fact of trivia for Bombayites (or Mumbaikars as some may prefer to be called) is that at one point in time Churchgate and Victoria Terminus were not the southern-most endpoint for the railway lines. There is (or was at last visit) a preserved section of the railway platform with tracks near the clubhouse building.
