It offered a superb soundtrack for each of the many playable "races" in the game, and had various levels of game play that ranged from arcade Archon-style creature on creature combat to strategy similar to the System Soft strategy games like Gemfire and Nobunaga's Ambition. 2 Player games were particularly fun given the variety that the game offered with the occasional arcade action battle to break up the quiet strategy and planning.

Overall an excellent effort from Square that should have seen more markets and translations.
