Bakhtiyar Artayev (born March 14, 1983) is a Kazakhstaniboxer who competed in the welterweight (69 kg) category at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal. In the final, Artayev beat Lorenzo Aragon Armenteros of Cuba with a score of 36-26. He was the Winner of the Val Barker Trophy for Outstanding Boxer at the 2004 Olympic Games.
