The Baluch (alternative spelling Baloch) are an ethnic group of Iranian origin. They speak Balochi, a north_western Iranian language. They live in western Pakistan, eastern Iran and southern Afghanistan. See Baluchistan. Baluchis are usually secular and have great religious tolerance. They feel much pride in their nationhood rather then their religion. Nearly 95 percent of Baluchis practice sunni sect of Islam.
