The powers and function of BangkoSentral are exercised by its Monetary Board, whose seven members are appointed by the President of the Philippines.
The AMLC is composed of the Governor of the BangkoSentral as Chairman and the Commisioner of the Insurance Commission and the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission as members.
