Encyclopedia > Bansi Kaul

Bansi Kaul (1949 - ) is a well-known Hindi theatre director. He has been awarded the Sangit Natak Akademi award by the Indian government.


He is the founder of Rang Vidushak, an experimental theatre group that has brilliantly incorporated folk idioms, into its production, and performed in India and elsewhere in several languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil and Singhalese.
