In September of 2001 BaoSteel, according to 9/11research.wtc7.net, was sold 50,000 tons of high-quality, UL-tested structural steel eminating from the World Trade Center for a below-market price of $120 per ton. The then going rate for scrap construction steel was $160 per ton. (That's $2,000,000.00 in free steel!)The steel sold to Bao is evidence of the large scale destruction of evidence that occured in the immediate aftermath of the destruction of the world trade center towers one, two and building seven. The steel skleleton of the WTC was probably severed with explosives such as sulfar-laden thermate, as Dr. Stephen Jones, a BYU professor, hypothesizes. The removal of the WTC steel occured under the auspices of teh the Mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani.
Business Baosteel has a crude steel production capacity of about 20 million tons.
