The Earldom of Bradford has been created twice, once in the Peerage of England and once in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The first creation, which occurred in 1694, was in favour of Francis Newport. The earldom became extinct in 1762 when the fourth Earl died without heirs.
The second creation came in 1815, when the Sovereign made Orlando Bridgeman, 2nd Baron Bradford an Earl. The Earl's subsidiary titles are: Viscount Newport (created 1815) and Baron Bradford (1794).
Sir Orlando Bridgeman, 4th Baronet (1695-1776) (married in 1719 Lady Anne Newport, daughter of the 2nd Earl and sister of the 3rd and 4th Earls of Bradford)
Sir Henry Bridgeman, 5th Baronet (1725-1800), created Baron Bradford in 1794
