Baron Dufferin and Claneboye, of Ballyleidy and Killyleagh in the County of Down, is a peerage title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created in 1800 for Dorcas, Lady Blackwood, the widow of Sir John Blackwood, 2nd Baronet, of Killyleagh. The 5th Baron was created Baron Claneboye, of Claneboye in the County of Down, in 1850, Viscount Claneboye, of Claneboye in the County of Down, and Earl of Dufferin, in the County of Down, in 1871 and Earl of Ava, in the Province of Burma, and Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, in the County of Down and in the Province of Burma, in 1888, all of which titles were in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. These titles became extinct on the death of the 5th Marquess, and the Barony of Dufferin and Claneboye was inherited by his distant relative Sir Francis George Blackwood, 7th Baronet, of the Navy, who became the 10th Baron.
