The Barony of Kendal was a subdivision of the English county of Westmorland. It was one of two Baronies (the other being the Barony of Westmorland), and contained within it the wards of Kendal and Lonsdale. It covered the south-western part of the county, including the towns of Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendal. Westmorland is one of the 39 traditional counties of England. ...
