Barry Miles (commonly known as, and called, simply "Miles") is an author who has written biographies of Paul McCartney, William Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg as well as books about John Lennon, the Beatles and Frank Zappa. In the 1960s, Miles was co-owner of the Indica Gallery which enabled him to meet many of the stars of the Swinging London social scene.
