Barsuk Records (pronounced "Bar-SOOK") is an independent record label based in Seattle, Washington. Its logo is a drawing of a dog holding a record in its mouth. The name of the label comes from a Russian word meaning "badger". Among the more notable artists signed to Barsuk are Death Cab for Cutie, Rilo Kiley, and Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter. They Might Be Giants also released their latest EP, Indestructible Object, through Barsuk.

Barsuk Records (pronounced "Bar-SOOK") is an independent record label based in Seattle, Washington, started and still managed by the members of the band This Busy Monster, Christopher Possanza and Josh Rosenfeld in 1994 to release their band's material.
Its logo is a drawing of a dog holding a record in its mouth.
However, the label is not named after a badger, as is noted in the Barsuk Records FAQ[1], but after Christopher Possanza's dog, a fl labrador.

Barsuk stated that the telephone company had an easement across his property and had placed and maintained poles in the wetland and there were various materials such as old auto parts and scrap in the wetland.
Barsuk on his application and found that because this project involved the filling of a larger segment of a wetland than other projects he had reviewed (e.g., filling for a driveway), it was an application that took more time requiring the development of greater information.
Barsuk stressed in his testimony that his project was grandfathered although he introduced no evidence to show that the wetland was used as part of the ongoing business prior to the enactment of Article 24.
