Basehead is an alternative hip hop group headed by Michael Ivey, a native of Maryland, United States. He debuted with Plays With Toys (1992, 1992 in music), which became a critical success and college radio hit. Ivey assembled a band and recorded Not in Kansas Anymore, which received mixed reviews.
