Bassic records was a short-lived Leedstechno record label set up in 1990 and folded in 1991. The label, along with Sheffield's Warp Records, was an essential part of the Yorkshire Bleeps and Bass scene. Releases were as follows:
BASS 1T, "Trust No One" by Unit 93, 12" vinyl. BASS 2T, "Soul Thunder" by Juno, 12" vinyl. BASS 3T, "Ital's Anthem" by Ital Rockers, 12" vinyl. Bassic 001, "Xplicit" by Heatseeker, 12" vinyl.
The inventory will identify what types of records are actually being maintained by an office as well as the program functions the records support and the volume of records for each type.
With this information, the records can be sorted into primary classifications based on function and retention value, which form the basis for the classification scheme.
Write file structures with records disposition in mind.
If the record is reconstructed, I would like a copy of all documents used to reconstruct his file and prove his service.
All mortuary records for World War II, for ALL branches, are kept at the Total Army Personnel Command (TAPC.) Be sure to mention your relationship to the person who died and that you are requesting the records under the Freedom of Information Act.
Records for Merchant Marines killed in World War II have been transferred to the National Archives Records Center (Deceased and War Casualty Records for Merchant Seaman 1936-1950).
