Bastar is a district of the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is a former princely state and consists of mostly tribals (adibashis). Jagdalpur, the district headquarters, is a beautiful city having population of about 1.5 lakhs (150,000).It also has many wonderful waterfalls.Chitrakoot and Teerathgarh are some of its waterfalls.To visit these waterfalls you have to visit Jagdalpur.These are situated near to it.It has also wonderful caves.One of them is located at Dantewara.
