Bath Township was founded in 1818 and is located on the western edge of Summit County in northeast Ohio.
Bath Township, as well as other townships in the state, is governed by a 3-member Board of Trustees, elected at-large in odd-numbered years, for 4-year overlapping terms.
Bath Township is served by a number of Interstates and State Highways, with immediate access to Interstate 77, State Route 18, and outlying access to Interstates 71, 271, 277, and the Ohio Turnpike.
