The Battle of Pistoria was fought in January of 62 BC between the Roman Republic and Catiline, a conspirator who wished to overthrow the republic. Catiline had been denounced by Cicero, and was attempting to flee when the Roman force intercepted him. The Romans won, and Catiline died in the fighting.
