Battle of Rhandeia
From Wikipedia
In the Battle of Rhandeia Romans under Lucius Caesennius Paetus were defeated by a Parthian-Armenian army under King Tiridates of Parthia (Iran). The Parthians had placed Tiridates, the brother of their king Vologases I on the Armenian throne. A retaliatory campaign was organized by Lucius Caesennius Paetus, the governor of Cappadocia, in 62. He used XII Fulminata and IIII Scythica but the Iranian army of Parthians forced them into surrender at Rhandeia (winter 62/63).
