The Battle of The Star Forge occured after Revan and the crew of his ship, the Ebon Hawk Crash landed on the unknown oceanic planet, inhabited by the former rulers of the galaxy, the Rakata, which was the closest to the Star Forge. The battle consisted of The Jedi, The Old Republic, and The Fleet of the Sith Empire. Revan and his crew, along with several Jedi penetrated the defences of the Star Forge and battled thier way to the ex Jedi and now Darth Malak's new apprentice, Bastila Shan, who was using her unique force ability, Battle Medatation, to aid the Sith Fleet, after Revan persuaded Bastila to turn back to the light side and aid the Republic Fleet. She did so, and Revan went to battle his ex apprentice Darth Malak. Malak used Jedi captured from the Jedi Temple on the planet Dantooine to drain the force out of them to make him more powerfull, after Revan killed Malak, the Republic fleet penetrated the Sith fleet and distroyed the Star Forge as their Capitol Ships bombarded the Forge's engine and sent it crumbling into the star it was draining energy from. After the battle, the crew of the Ebon Hawk were rewarded the Republic's most honorable medal, and were named the saviors of the Republic.
The StarForge was a dark side artifact that was created by the Infinite Empire of the Rakata around 30,000 BBY, five thousand years before the formation of the Galactic Republic.
After the fall of the Infinite Empire, the StarForge was deserted and eventually forgotten.
Revan and his team battled through seemingly endless waves of Sith infantrymen, Dark Jedi, Sith apprentices, and battle droids created by the StarForge.
Star Destroyers are iconic vessels of the fictional universe of Star Wars.
The Official Star Wars Databank Republic Attack Cruiser EU page leaves the exact relationship of the names unresolved, stating that the ship was designated as Imperator when it was conceived and designed and implying that by the time the ship entered service, it was already going by the name Imperial.
Star Destroyers have featured prominently in many Star Wars computer games, primarily as targets to be destroyed by starfighters, as in the X-Wing computer game series.
