Battle of the Year is an annual breakdancing competition held all over the world. The format comprises firstly a showcase in which all countries perform a routine demonstrating their ability in the different styles of bboying. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges. The 4 best crews are selected to take part in the final 3/4 and 1/2 battles. Crews from all over the world take part and the competition is very highly regarded in the breakdance scene.
