He keeps involving himself with Tsukasa as he realizes the Wavemaster's current situation is pretty dangerous, but BT tells him not to involve with Tsukasa's life unless he is willing to take full responsibility. So he decides to go to the very end, not only for Tsukasa but also for himself, in the quest of a way to help Tsukasa to log out. At the end of the series he offers Tsukasa the choice of being his legal guardian once he logs out.
