Overview
The Bearminator is the second boss in the game. He is a polar bear who is the captain of a small submarine that fires cannonballs and mechanical polar bear cubs, which are armed with missiles on their backs. When the mechanical bears were disposed of, the player would be armed with one missile, used to hit the Bearminator. When attacked, the Bearminator would destroy a part of the platform, and this process would be repeated until the Bearminator was defeated. Apparently, he has died, for he has not been seen in a Crash Bandicoot game since. It is sometimes believed that he appeared first in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back since he looks very similar to the polar bears that chase Crash in one level in that game.
