Bearskin Lake is an Oji-Cree reserve in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in the Kenora District 425 kilometres north of Sioux Lookout. The community, located on Michikan Lake, is accessible only by air or winter road. The Nishnawbe-Aski, also known as the Oji-Cree, Anishinini or, less correctly, Severn Ojibwe, are a First Nation in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Manitoba, residing in a narrow band extending from the Missinaibi River region in Northeastern Ontario at the east to Lake Winnipeg at the west. ...
