Beawar was founded by Colonel Dixon in 1835.Beawar is a town of British India, the administrative headquarters of Merwara district in Ajmere Merwara.It was founded as a treaty between the Mewars and the british. It is 53 kilometers from Ajmer, with a 1901 population of 21,928. Beawar is situated at a strategic location in Rajasthan, India.
