Behind the Mask (album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (362 words)
Behind the Mask is an album by British/American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in 1990.
It was the first album released by the band after the departure of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.
The album wasn't as succesful as its predecessor, Tango in the Night, neither did it serve to spawn any big hit singles ("Save Me" and "Skies the Limit" did enjoy some airplay, though), but the album managed to peak in the higher places of the chart, especially in Europe.
KISS (album) at AllExperts (975 words)
By April, the album was clearly not the commercial success the band and Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart were hoping for.
The album's cover showed the group positioned against a fl background in a pose visually reminiscent of The Beatles' With the Beatles album (Criss stated that this was the visual effect the band was looking for).
Three of the four band members applied their own makeup for the album cover photo, as they usually did; but Peter Criss's makeup was applied by a professional, whose work came out looking quite a bit different from the look Criss had established, and to which he would return immediately afterward.
