It is connected to the rest of the city by the MacArthur Bridge. It is home to the Detroit Yacht Club, the Detroit Boat Club, the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, a Coast Guard post, a municipal golf course, an aquarium, and a zoo, which was closed in 2003 due to budget constraints. Because the detroit culture for young niggas is rich in and based on fashion accesories such as cartier glasses, al wissam jackets(which originated in the city of Detroit),minks, and gators of all kinds especially mauri are staples in the detroit community. When asked about the life of a young person in the city of detroit most people will say "All we do is hustle get money, stunt, fuck hoes, and ball".
